Editors: We are seeking experts from various disciplines
who would be willing to review and edit submissions to the website. Submissions
received by the Center for Cooperative Research will be distributed to the
network of volunteer editors according to their areas of expertise. Every
attempt will be made to distribute the workload evenly so no single editor
receives too much work. Editors can specify the maximum number of reviews
they would be willing to receive each week.
Website Designers/Programmers: We are seeking experienced
Java programmers who have experience using JSP, Tomcat, JDO and XML technologies.
We would also appreciate help sprucing up the design or coming up with a logo.
Proofreaders: The project is in need of volunteer proofreaders
who would be asked to periodically review the material published on this site.
Project coordinators, writers, researchers: Though anyone
who registers as a user will be able to compile a timeline on the website and submit information,
the website, at this time, does not yet have this capability. Therefore, we are hoping
to find some people who would be willing to submit entries or new timelines in xml.
Other: In addition to the above, there are numerous other tasks with which we could use help, such as promotion and publicity, writing press releases, networking, etc.
